Day 1: Rooted in Christ

Ephesians 3:17 (NIV)

"so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love."  

Resilience is built upon a foundation of Jesus dwelling in our hearts through faith and being established in love. This "rooting" implies a deep connection to Christ, allowing us to draw strength from Him. This dwelling is made possible by God’s leading grace, which enables us to freely accept Christ. As we grow, rooted in Christ, we grow closer to him and more like him. This is to be established in love.

Take time today to reflect on on your connection with Christ. Are you truly rooted in His love? Spend time in prayer, asking Him to deepen your connection and strengthen your foundation.

Lord Jesus, thank you for your love. Help me to be deeply rooted in you, drawing strength from your presence. Amen.
